Christmas Carols, gathering with friends and family, lots of booze and food and laughter, singing and dancing, decorating the tree, the looks on the faces of kids as they tear into their presents... that’s all awesome.
But...
OH FOR FUCK SAKE! SOMEONE STOP THE ADVERTISERS! I FUCKING FUCKING HATE HATE HATE WHEN THEY TAKE CHRISTMAS CAROLS AND CHANGE THE WORDS TO FIT THEIR AD!
AT&T is currently the worst. Their radio ad where they have “Santa and an elf” sing their fast-talk disclaimers in the form of a Christmas song makes me want to go and strangle an ad executive with a long string of real spruce tinsel. Fuck that and fuck AT&T.

The only Ads I see anymore are on the side of the road.
I stream music from my phone in my car.
I don’t have cable.
I watch all of my shows on Netflix or from my own Plex server.
And with the election season beginning to ramp up, I’ve never been happier to avoid basically all advertisements.

Advertisements are bad and with 2 months of Christmas music on the radio, I begin to loose it. 1 month a year I could handle, but starting in November... No.
